Caribbean Cruise 2024
A week on Royal Caribbean with the whole family — a ship packed with things to do and some genuinely unforgettable stops along the way.
Highlights
- Royal Caribbean Ship - This ship was something else. Merry-go-rounds, all-you-can-eat ice cream, and enough onboard activities to fill the at-sea days without ever feeling like you’re running out of things to do. The kids were in heaven.
- Belize Shore Excursion - Belize was the standout stop of the cruise. A beautiful country with a lot to offer right off the ship.
- Snorkeling - The snorkeling in Belize is world-class. Crystal clear water, vibrant coral, and incredible marine life. One of the best snorkeling experiences we’ve had as a family.
- Mayan Ruins - We made it out to an ancient Mayan historical site — a completely different side of Belize from the beach. Walking through ruins that are thousands of years old with the jungle closing in around you is humbling and unforgettable.

Tips
- Book shore excursions through the cruise line or a reputable local operator — especially for Belize where tenders are involved
- Don’t miss the snorkeling in Belize — if you do nothing else at that port, do that
- The Mayan ruin tours pair well with a beach or snorkel stop on the same day
- Take full advantage of the ship on at-sea days — the onboard amenities on Royal Caribbean are genuinely impressive
- Pack light for shore excursions — just what you need for the day; leave the rest on the ship
