Hawaii New Year’s 2026

What an amazing way to start the new year! Our family trip to Oahu was everything we hoped for and more.

Highlights

• Waiki Beach - Crystal clear waters and an amazing sun rise!
• Hanauma Bay - Amazing snorking - we saw a sea turtle!
• Dole Plantation - You can’t beat fresh pineapple Dole Whip!

The kids loved snorkeling for the first time, and we all enjoyed the local Hawaiian cuisine. Can’t wait to go back!

1. Rent a car - public transit is limited
2. Book restaurants in advance
3. Pack reef-safe sunscreen
4. Don’t skip the North Shore!
