Wonder of the Seas 2026

A full-family Royal Caribbean adventure on Wonder of the Seas — with a memorable pregame stop in Miami and one of the best days we’ve had at sea.

Miami Pre-Cruise Day

We spent a day in Miami before setting sail, and made the most of it by catching a Miami Marlins game. The Marlins hosted the Mets in a thriller that ended with a walk-off grand slam — an electric moment in the ballpark and a perfect send-off before boarding the ship.

Life Aboard Wonder of the Seas

Wonder of the Seas lives up to its name. The ship is enormous and loaded with things to do, and we barely scratched the surface over the week. The food was excellent from start to finish — every venue delivered.

The entertainment highlight was The Effectors 2, Royal Caribbean’s in-house developed superhero production. The special effects they pull off on a ship at sea are genuinely jaw-dropping — it felt like a Broadway-quality show in the middle of the ocean. A must-see if you’re ever on this ship.

Coco Cay — The Perfect Do-Over

A few years back we visited Royal Caribbean’s private island, Coco Cay, and got hit with a rainy day. This time around, the weather was absolutely perfect.

The difference was night and day. Pool vibes, a great cookout spread, and the whole family enjoying the island in the sunshine. It was the redemption trip we’d been waiting for — everything Coco Cay is supposed to be.

Tips

  1. If you have a pre-cruise day in Miami, look up the Marlins schedule — loanDepot Park is a quick ride from the port and the games are a blast
  2. Book The Effectors 2 as early as possible — it fills up fast and for good reason
  3. Coco Cay is weather-dependent; if you get a sunny day, lean into the pool and cookout areas
  4. Wonder of the Seas has neighborhoods — explore beyond your home neighborhood to find hidden gems on the ship
  5. The private island cookout is included, so skip the specialty dining that day and enjoy the spread
